A beautiful day, last Friday - sunny, fine weather! Here we are at the airport, gate 75, V Australia. Tried not to look nervous as we posed - me with the precious duty free purchases and Dave on the temporary walkway. They're a BIG 777-300 Boeing, and looking very new & sharp inside. We were lucky enough to sit in the exit row, with leg room! 12.25 hours is a long time to be stuck in the one place, but we managed. An uneventful flight, good service and in-flight entertainment. Spent today (Friday - again) with a sleep for a few hours, then a trip down to Manhattan Village to get some 'supplies'..... Early night tonight!
