Just a quick one today - we've been on the plane for most of the day... left our hotel at 5.30am to get to LAX to fly out on a Boeing 777-300 to Washington DC at 7.45am. Arrived in DC at 3.30 having lost 3 hrs to time zones. Dinner at Cheescake Factory tonight - finished off with a slice (well, half of because it was ENORMOUS - and no, no photographic evidence!) of Linda's Chocolate Fudge Cake........ yep, I know what they say, 'A moment on the lips, a lifetime on the hips'..... I'm sure I'll pay the price - but IT WAS WORTH IT!

Ok, now I'm really jealous...I LOVE cheesecake! Nothing like dessert to help you recover from jetlag.

Now I will have to go back to 'the factory' as they call it here - and buy another slice of cheesecake to show you just how ENORMOUS they are!!! And - in the mysterious duty free bag, there just might be something complimentary of cheesecake, mightn't there? Something starting with a 'B'..... can you guess what it might be? NO - not beer. Beer & cheesecake DO NOT mix!
