Dishwasher!

Scarlet hung over the side of the boat to get this 'vision' of what we were motoring towards!!!

Holy cow! It was a 'solid' wall of mist & water! We 'hunkered' down under our blue raincoats leaving tiny view holes out so we could see. Poor Scarlet with her glasses - they got all fogged up and covered with water - she needed windscreen wipers!

We could feel the captain giver her full throttle - we weren't going anywhere! Got a fairly good close-up view of the falls and felt the energy of the water toppling down - it was pretty windy up close - not able to take photos or video - had to keep them warm and dry! Dave reckons it was the closest he'd ever been to feeling like he was in a dishwasher! or a washing machine! After a few minutes, the captain started to turn us around and we headed slowly back to the dock. Amazingly we were not that wet - just our shoes/ feet - and you'll be pleased to read the happy ending - Scarlet's hair was dry!

Walked out on the Observation Deck and took a snap of Nik looking further down the Niagra River.
