Arrived Binghamton, NY late in the afternoon. Found a Red Roof Inn in the Johnson City area and managed to persuade the clerk to give us the handicapped rooms so that we could be on the ground floor!!! Too much shopping to lug it all up some stairs! The inn just 'happened' to be located across the road from a mall so we walked across the road to a joint called 'Ruby Tuesdays' and settled in for some well-earned chow. It's fast becoming Scarlet's favourite abode because they do $5 Margaritas all day every day... (God Bless America!) After dinner, the shops were still open so we gave ourselves an hour and took off in different directions of the compass. Scarlet x 2 margaritas managed to find her way into Macy's shoe sale - and snapped up these little bargains for $10.29 down from $40 or something! Dave went to Sears for more tool time.... Is it any wonder our bags are full?
