Bath, NY/ Watkins Glen/ Wagners winery

Hit the road rubber side down - ready for more adventure! Drove around Bath and checked out some of the locals - it's a small 'country' town - Nik was a bit worried about venturing into a cellar and never being seen again...
Very scenic drive to Watkins Glen - looking at various 'ports' along Seneca Lake (named after the Seneca Indian tribe). Stopped to buy some peaches - they looked good..... tasted, well, ..... never mind.
Arrived at Wagners - did the wine and the brewery tastings. Very good! Found a nice champers so have a couple of bottles packed in the suitcase ready for Vegas. Outside there was a pond full of Koi and a couple of swans and ducks - so softie Scarlet bought a packet of food and we had fun feeding the animals.
Whilst having lunch, the Buffalo crew called and said they were waiting for us! So we went down the road to Hazlett's winery and had another quick tasting before purchasing some 'Red Kat' wine which the Buff crew like. Also bought some t-shirts etc.
Drove through to Buffalo. Nice roads, good to drive on. Found our way to Joe's at Attica. They were enjoying the afternoon sunshine when we pulled up.
Michelle's daughter, Bailey, was prouding showing us a 'critter' they'd found earlier - a turtle - freshwater - with a tail! Forget what she called it - some sort of thorny/horny turtle??? Cute though - don't you think?
PS - Hawk tells me it's a 'Snapping Turtle' (with a horny/thorny shell thingy....!)
