Guess What?

We have had an interesting week. Looks like Dave found a new 'toy'! It's a Can Am 'Spyder' - 3 wheels of power! Wow - is it a nice ride, or what? I'll happily go without takeaway or treats for a few years to enjoy this instead!

I always forget my camera!

Met up last night with my friends of 20+ years and guess what? I forgot my camera. Dave did his best on my phone camera - but it's a bit dark..... that might be a good thing though, because we still look young and beautiful in this picture. Thank-you Dave. And a big Thank-You to my friends for 20+ years of laughter and friendship! Must do it again, soon!

Pop's Orchid

I am so proud of this effort! My Pop gave me this orchid and look what a little rain and fertiliser can do! Isn't it beautiful?

Sunday Ride

This afternoon, Dave and I went for a test ride on a Can-Am! We were really impressed by how comfortable it was. Plenty of features to make it a cool ride indeed! Now we just have to work out how to afford one..... :-(

Happy Easter! Feliz Pascuas!

Have had camping adventures this Easter!  Were invited by some lovely friends and went to Brooloo Park, just outside of Imbil, for two nights.  Wonderful weather - not too hot and not too cold and very few of those annoying 'buzzing' insects.  No snakes spotted, just a very shy I'm-not-posing-for-the-camera goanna and a long necked tortoise (not a turtle, I think?).  Very relaxing, especially after a few 'alcopops'!  We think we are very clever with our camping set-up and had a comfortable stay!

Lesley is 'The Birthday Girl' wearing her cake!  We were invited to celebrate a special milestone birthday in Chinchilla last night.  Had an absolute blast - lots of innovative 'Mad Hats' and 'Masks'!  Some of the party-goers took more than one hat and changed them during the evening...  especially the Birthday Girl who had several!
