Have had camping adventures this Easter! Were invited by some lovely friends and went to Brooloo Park, just outside of Imbil, for two nights. Wonderful weather - not too hot and not too cold and very few of those annoying 'buzzing' insects. No snakes spotted, just a very shy I'm-not-posing-for-the-camera goanna and a long necked tortoise (not a turtle, I think?). Very relaxing, especially after a few 'alcopops'! We think we are very clever with our camping set-up and had a comfortable stay!
I am impressed with your comfortable camp set-up....and all that wildlife...Is that you holding the turtle? I didn't know you were so brave!
