Breakfast

Last Saturday we had breakfast with Aunty Pam and Uncle Ed on their lovely patio.  What a great way to start the weekend!  Dave was especially pleased because he had liver & bacon with eggs.  Weather was beautiful!!!  We are well in to autumn now - won't be wearing the shorts for too much longer, I'm afraid.

Might I also highly recommend the OJ, freshly squeezed, with a hint of Jacob's Creek champagne......  there's nothing like it on this Earth.

Looking forward to another loooong weekend this weekend.......!  :-)

Margarita time!!!

What a day I've had!  Left for work at 7.15 and left for home at 5.30pm...  Upon arrival at home, 'Ben' the house boy was in the kitchen mixing a margarita - from scratch!  Impressive!!!  Since late last year, we have been unable to secure a bottle of pre-mixed Cuervo 'Margarita Mix' and have almost succumbed to the depths of deep depression as a result.

Ben's mix is absolutely up-to-scratch as a substitute!

All hail Mexican Margaritas!!!

It's a Dog's Life!

Holidays are meant for relaxing, aren't they?  With a dog, of course.  Our lovely Asha had plenty of lovin's today - off for a run with Dave and cuddles from Scarlet in the evening.  What more could you want???

Happy Easter to all!  

Good Friday also happened to be our 10th wedding anniversary.  We decided to continue with the Christian tradition of the fish & bread and the wine....  We slurped our way through a 'Jeroboam' sized bottle of 2001 Syrah Shiraz (3L!) - sourced recently from the Rosemount winery when we visited Willow in the Hunter Valley.  It was rather nice!   Have decided to keep the bottle as a 'trophy' - not sure we want to afford another one!  Nor the hangover.
