Calorie free!!!

We have friends who make it the 'national sport' to stop at the bakery in each country town they visit, and try out the apple turnovers (with cream!)  This one is the BEST!  Can you guess which town we're in???

Out in the Country

Had a fabulous weekend - went to Amby - for a party!  Amby is 60km west of Roma, Qld.  It was Jacko's birthday!  We stayed at the Amby pub (pictured).  It was a tad cooler than the coast I must say....  Not much 'wildlife' to see either.  But would highly recommend the McCafe at Roma for a good hangover cure! 

'Chicken soup for the soul'

Had an opportunity this weekend to catch up with some friends from the ol school days... we don't think we've changed one bit!  No 'hags' here!!   Caught up on all 'the gossip'!  It certainly is 'chicken soup for the soul' re-living the highlights (& maybe some not-so-high lights) of shared past experiences and having a good laugh!

PS Aren't the chairs just a stunning colour???  Can't get lost in the dark with those - that's for sure.  

A Blast from the Past!

Check out the 70's fashion - not to mention the cute looks of these two little ladies with their favourite Uncle Frank!  Sometimes I think it's a shame that we all have to grow up!
